In 1974 when many of his classmates were heading off to college, Don Carroll joined the work force and proceeded with his life long ambition of helping less fortunate children. Until his death in 2013 Don lived by the motto, “Pay it Forward”. During his lifetime he raised thousands of dollars for kids in need. Despite preferring to achieve results rather than garner recognition, Don received numerous awards and certificates for his humanitarian efforts.
The lives of hundreds of young people and families have been enriched because of the efforts and generosity of Don Carroll. For this reason Don’s legacy will continue through the Donald R. Carroll Toys for Kids toy drive and other fund raising activities.

All proceeds go to purchase gifts and clothing for children in need in our community during the holiday season, as well as offer opportunities for camp and sports experiences for kids in need.
